LASALLE College of the Arts

Main Study: Bass
Based in Singapore, Lervis started out his musical journey during his teenage years playing in the underground Rock and Metal scene. As his appetite for new sounds and music grew, he fell in love with R&B and Hip-Hop music.

At 21, he left his day job to focus solely on music and got accepted into Lasalle College of the Arts studying Bass. By the end of his first year, he was already holding residency gigs playing at local restaurants and night clubs.
His eclectic approach to music and dedication to his craft has brought him to to bigger stages like music festivals and TV appearances across Asia.

During the Covid-19 pandemic when gigs abruptly came to a halt, he took the opportunity as a stepping stone into the next phase of his career: music production and media composition. This next stage of his life saw him falling in love with music all over again and he completed a degree program remotely with Berklee during this time.

Besides juggling work as a side-man bassist, producer and composer, he is also part of NOZAF, a experimental / instrumental band influenced by the sounds of BoomBap, Trap and Neo-Soul. A 5 track EP is currently slated for release in early 2024.

He spends his time teaching like-minded students when not on the stage or in the studio.
